Hope I can get to the bottom of this..

I took my 2003 4-Cylinder Accord in for service 3 weeks ago. I was experiencing a loud clanging sound when going over bumps. The dealer resolved this issue, but now my car dies out intermittently. I will be driving along and then will suddenly lose the ability to accelerate. I push the gas and nothing happens; my battery light and oil light then come on. I turn off the car and am able to restart it immediately and continue driving. Sometimes this happens at an idle state (at a red light). When I brought the car in, the dealer performed some updates on the car as the result of a recall. I know the multiplex unit was updated specifically, and am wondering if this is tied to the problem. This occurs 4-5 times per week and is VERY frustrating. This started happening soon after the car was serviced at a Honda dealer. The dealer did perform an "idle re-learn" on the car, but this did nothing.
