crx problem...not starting
ok here's the problem...my friend brought his car to a mechanic to drop in a stock d16a6 motor from another crx into his....everything is wired up but it wont start....it will turn over but no spark...there is also an extra connector on the shock tower...its four wires...2 black and yellow wires, 1 red and 1 green .....im not sure if thats a important connector or not....we also put in a new distributor....any help will do...thanks

You need to elaborate on the problem more, it could just be somthing stupid like a blown fuse or two, the firewire may be wired wrong, plugs may be bad, hell, it might even be your battery!!
Somethings you should check:
1)Grounds-make sure that they are all nice and secure, especially the one on the thermostat.
2)Sparkplug wires-are they in the right firing order? good condition?
3)Sparkplugs-condition? Need to be changed?
4)Distributor-Connectors plugged in? Timing?
Was the car previously a DPFI model (DX)?
