The Brake Service Light comes on in my 2000 Accord SE and after a few minutes, then goes out. The car does not have to be moving for this to happen. A few minutes after it is cranked and still sitting in park, the light goes out. It seems to only come on when the car has been sitting for a while and is cold. I checked the pads/fluids and they look fine in the front. The rear brake lights are all OK. Could this be telling that the rear drum brakes need some attention? I have 85000 miles on the rear drums. Please help! Thanks in advance.

 

honda has a service bulletin out on that problem,you need to replace the float and screen in your master cyl.
