ok well around 3 days ago i got a main. req. code how do I get it off? I have changed all the fluids the car is running great the only thing i can think of is may need a new timing belt. I dont know when the previous owner changed the belt and I now have 98,400 miles on the car. I did a search but could not find anything on this so if any of you can help it'd be awesome. Thanks

 

It's just a light that comes on every 7500 miles, automatically. If you don't reset it, it will just come up for no reason. To reset it, simply reach under the right side dash while the key is turned to accessory mode and feel around for a button. When you find it, hold the button until the maint req light turns off. Problem solved.

 

it is simply a computer reminder for a check up
to turn it off turn your key to the "on position"
Go under your driver side dash and hold down the blue square button for a few seconds and the light will go off.
