hows your oil level? how long since last valve adjustment. is your car stock? does this go on during warmup or at all times?

give more details.

my oil is fine, this has been going on for some time now and i heard it might be my valves but never looked into it. it does it at all times jus not at warmup but it loud during warmup becuz of the rpms are so low. my motor is stock except for some cam gears and headers but the interals are all stock

Then it looks like its time for a valve adjustment.
It is a required form of periodic maintenance.

check oil and do a valve adjustment.. or just listen close and see if it's just the injectors making noise..

Like Zyg stated, get valve adjustement done.. should be done every 15k miles.. look under f.a.q. for maintanance.. your car will not be in top shape unless you do all of these.

check the code again, if its more than one code, it will flash both.

steady blink at start up? if so, isnt that just the indicator for service and not a CEL?

you'd have to be beating it pretty hard to need it every 15k.. not even the dealer tries to screw you for that(unlike the whole 3k miles oil change thing)..

I had the same thing, feel you spark plug wires and see if you can feel the clicking there. If so, change your plugs. one may just need to be tightened, but i would change them anyway.

Get that valve adjustment done and then see what happens.

If your plugs are tight and gapped properly, I suggest that you perform a compression check on your engine. Bent valves will cause misfiring. Does your car idle roughly?

i'd try to reset ECU and see if misfire code comes back on - your car should idle weird if it was misfiring as far as know.. check spark plug gap - are you using stock spark plugs? then check/replace spark plug wires - theres a tool to test it.
