have you checked your timing at all...? Is it correct, I am thinking my timing belt may have slipped a lil...

Or have you fugged with your Throttle body linkage..? Hows the idle on your car?

yes, timing is correct... retarded a bit, but this is because of my uber high CR on 91 pump gas. but when i put 100octane in i put it back at stock timing, so i know timing is fine.

haven't messed with the linkage, but it has done this since i swapped in this motor. idles fine once its warm, it will fluctuate for a few seconds then steadies out.

ok, i think i may have fixed my problem here. i was timing the car again and noticed #1 would miss every once in a while. this was through the inductive pickup so i knew it was ignition. i replaced my icm and coil and the car runs much smoother now. no missing at all, even drivability is much nicer. i'm guessing that is fuel that was just coming out of my tail pipe because it wasn't being burned. i'll have to watch and see if it continues to let out that much black **** out of the tail pipe.
