Default 1993 Accord SE Coupe - Leaky Trunk

I recently purchased a nice 1993 Accord SE Coupe.

We had a very heavy rain recently and I found a lot of water in the trunk on each side, especially the left side.

I read a discussion that indicated that the water usually comes in through the rear tail lights.

Anybody with comments on this????

Yeah it would most likely be either from the tail lights or the accord cancer (rust) site. If it at the tail lights put some sealant around them. If it is at the wheel well... fix the rust with some bondo and it will stop leaking. To check your rust spot, pull back the sides of the trunk and take a peak at the weld along the bottom near the wheel well.

I'd silicone the taillights if I were you. There was also a small spot on my 91 lx that leaked right below the taillight, where the factory sealant was leaking.
