Hey. i know i sound really dumb but could u buy a rim that is wider than the stock rim? if yes how much is the max? are there rims where the lugs are deeper iin so it be wider and it would be stickin out of the car body? I know they exists in europe but i dont know if they have it over here. thnx

 

you definetly can own rims that are wider than the stock wheels, obviously there is only a certain width you can go, but personally speaking, on one accord, i have an 18x8 set of wheels and an 18x9 set of wheels and both are alright, dont have a problem with them, they both come to the fenderwell, one a little more than the other...but yes...

the only problem a lot of times is when you get the rims, some online places will give you the eurotuner lugs and tuner key with it and sometimes the tuner key isnt long enough so you have to be careful, when using any sort of power device, it can scrape the finish of the rim around the lug holes...

but yes, you can have a wider rim, as far as how it throws off calibration and losses in power someone else here will have to put you onto that...

 

hey, who makes 18X8 rims for Accords? ... Let me know, I've been searching for sometime now and most of the rims I find are only 7 1/2 max... I'm looking for 8's... That's perfect... I'm interested to find out where I can search for this size and what manufacturer makes em..
