Default is the accord 97 v6 wider and longer than v4 accords?

hey a mechanic told me that the Accord 97 v6 body is wider and longer just by a lil bit. is that right? would i have difficulties finding body kits? would i need to cut them. if yes how? any help or info would be great big time. thanx in advance

I think that the only size difference in v6 and the in line 4 (just figured I'd let you know its an inline, not the "v" configuration) is the size of the grill. Other than that, the body sizes should be about the same. If you have trouble finding a kit for it, just google for the v6 kits. Let us all know what kit your looking to get, always glad to help pick that stuff out.

actually, no. the V6s have a longer front section, so fenders/hoods/front bumpers are all different. other than that, yes, things are mostly the same. for the exhaust, i don't know. but for body kits, make sure you get a V6 kit, otherwise your shop will be doing fiberglass work for you.

Hey i found a kit now and i think its the only 1 of two that i found is decent. I want to mix match it with a different rear bumper and skirts. Are the rear bumper and skirts also different ?

nope, your skirts and rear should be the same as the I4.
