Polished Si Rims
well i decided to polish a set of si rims that were originally gunmetal. i got the paint off and sanded with a fine grit and used some mothers polish but they came out horrible. i would like some advice on how to take out all the fine scratches if anyone know.

When those scratches are gone, those wheels will be the **** son.
Dont listen to the others.
BTW, Dremel with polishing heads work alot better. If you used them, what type did you use?

i bought the rims for 50 dollars. the previous owner had painted them white and had sanded them down. i painted them gunmetal but am trying to repolish them if possible.

i did wet sand them probably with 400 grit what grit do i need to use and also i might just paint them bronze anyone know if duplicolor makes bronze paint.
they do, thats what i used on my rims. 400 grit is waaaayy too rough! you should have went with 1000 or 2000 grit. 400 is not "fine"...but duplicolor does make bronze...check out my thread for pics
