Do not buy from jspec engines!!!!!!!
They send crap. I cant even begin to explain the amount of trouble im having with this company. Their product is **** too. DONT BUY FROM THEM!!! http://jspecengines.8m.com/home1.html
Could you take a shot at explaining the trouble you are having?
As a consumer who enjoys doing research on what I am buying, I usually don't give much credit to complaints that don't have explainations. I would like to hear your explaination because I can tell that you feel wronged.
Thanks

I am also still waiting on a reply. Dont just say dont buy from them where how when what did they do so wrong give us proof. Not that were doubting you we just want to know what happened.
Hmm... where to start.... ok well first off the engine came dirty as hell. Hasnt even been touched by any type of cleaning product. I was under the impression that most companies atleast try to make their stuff presentable. EVERYTHING is cu on it. Apparently thats how all imported engines come. They used a cutting torch to cut the engine mounts out, axles off and even melted part of the AC pully. There was standing water in each of the 4 spark plug pits. the hydro clutch line was dented shut. There is evidence of standing water in the throttle body. Didnt come with shift linkage. Valvetrain smells like gasoline, not oil. No paperwork and a claimed 35k miles but the exhaust ports look more like 70k+. Wasnt shipped in a crate. Need I go on? Maybe im expecting too much, i dunno...
Now that's a complaint!!!!
OMG, they didn't even ship it in a crate, that would probably account for the water being in the spark plug pits.
I am so sorry to here that man. At least the word is out.

That totally sux mann. I kept reading your past posts and it sux that they **** you like that after you were so excited to get it and all. Another company to stay clear of. This is getting to **** me off. Many companies are falling off now days from what i hear and read. Hope they start fessing up to their problem so you can get a good motor. If not take your reciept and get to hiring a lawyer or something...
See the thing is, ive called and complained many times. He offered to reimburse me for the axles. I yelled at him enough to get him to replace the missing engine mounts, but how can i be sure what kind of condition the internals are in?? The only receipt i have is the shipping notice. My step-dad is a notre dame graduated lawyer so that may help if it comes down to it. My advice to you all.... Spend the extra cash and get you JDM swap from a place in the States that receives the ENTIRE front clip. This importing from Japan BS isnt worth the hassel... do it right the first time!
Oh man,.... i WISH my engine looked like that.... Take that B18C pic... dump half a ton of mud and grime on it, cut every hose\wire and hit it a few times with a 5lb sledgehammer... then you'll have MY engine....
you get a compression tester guage thingy. take teh pluggy think off your distributor so taht you can only crank your engine, and not start it up. Take off the first spark pulg in cylinder #1 twist the compression tester tube into cylinder number 1 and crank for a few seconds and write down the number, then put back the sparkplug and wire, and repeat with the 3 cylinders.
