anyway to get particles out of a 1 3/4 " autometer gauge?

anyway to get particles out of a 1 3/4 " autometer gauge?
i got some dust and some drilled filings inside my boost gauge, is there a way to open the gauge up and clean the backside of the glass without ruining the gauge or do i havet live with it?
