Default h22 turbo

i have a h22 in my 92 accord and just got my turbo but i cant seem to find a good way to run the pipe from the press. side of the turbo to the intercooler. the only way i see is to remove the ac compresser but i cant do that because my wife would kick my ***!

a/c is for whimps...i hope you arn't gonna run much boost on that h22a (unless you've already done your research!)...but i hope you choose the turbo over a/c...the wifey will surely understand your need for speed!

indeed...bad turbo'ing the family car if the kit is for the h22....i would think that they would have made it to fit with the a/c...i believe most kits do these days. then again they probably didn't account for an accord with an h22. you better watch that high compression and ringlands, but you might be screwed on the piping deal

8 psi is safe if properly tuned...wouldn't personally go over that, but it'll be ok...

also, just throwing an idea out, try mounting the turbo in the opposite direction (compressor on passenger side and exhaust housing on driverside)...of course you'd have to get a new downpipe custom made, as well as new charge piping custom made...but hey, you'd still have your ac

I wouldn't run over 6 psi on a stock h. I had a friend blow his up at 8psi. It will last a little while but I'd give it less then a year before it pukes

i'll personally be running at about 5 psi daily...maybe 8 at the track...should make some pretty nice numbers with such a setup...

Yeah 5 would be safe daily. But for this guy I get the idea this car is his only ride. You don't want to blow up your only form of transportation, especially with a wife and kid to transport
