Ive been looking to get the Apexi WS cat back exhaust for some time now. I like the looks and the sound, its not to loud but frees up more HP than stock.
But if I decide to go turbo (<8psi) next summer will the WS exhaust hold me back? Ive heard its not a true straight through design. And the piping isnt optimal for a good low pressure F/I setup. I dont wan to buy it and then have to replace it in 6 months. If I got turbo it will be modest, am I worrying too much about the exhaust?

I ran the apexi ws exhaust on my turbo ls for a year...no problems, but you will be sacrificing some hp, as the exhaust is a chambered design, not a straight through.
i also had my psi at 5.8. only reason i got it was because i wanted the super-sleeper set-up. Get a greddy pe if you want quiet and straight through.

I've got the WS on my turbo ls, and although a few extra horses would be nice, because of how quiet it is, i won't be trading for anything more free flowing for a while.
