Default Fuel Cut after VAFC install

Ever since my VAFC has been installed I am hitting a rev limit or fuel cut in every gear at 7800-7900. Prior to install I had no issues and pulled to 8200 just fine.

Set up....
LS/Vtec
PR3 ECU
Walbro Fuel Pump
AEM Rail
B&M Regulator
Stock Injectors

VAFC is wired correctly and fuel filter has been changed. Any ideas?

BTW... car feels slower with the VAFC

Well, it would seem to me that since everything was kudos before the AFC install, then the fault lies either in the installation of the VAFC or in something that was changed via it.

What purpose did you have to install the AFC? Are you going to take your car to get it tuned with it? Also, what changes have you already made with it?

I do plan on dyno tuning it and no real changes were made. Today, I played with my FPR and it seems to have gotten rid of the fuel cut. Any ideas why this worked?

on apex-i's vafc theres an option for redline... are you sure you have it set at 8200 or whatever your redline was?
i remember 1 time my boys were fkingh w. me and set it down to 6000
would bounce off the limiter

The guy that installed this for me is very competent with Hondas and he says there isnt a rev limit option.

Don't hi-jack other people's threads like this.

All of the Apex-i manuals are available online in .pdf format.

Go to Apexi USA
