CRX door visor/rain guards selling for almost $300!?!?
With the demand for CRX rain guards on EBAY selling for almost (and now probably more) than $300
isn't it about time that an aftermarket company make some? Prove me wrong and show us a link to a company that sells them. Heck if they sold for $100 a pair I think they would still sell. Considering what people are paying for the JDM ones now. This has gone on for too long!
Oh and if you have a set of JDM rain guards for sale please IM me!

Yep, I've seen them go for that price quite a few times. It really pisses me off when you can get nice after market ones for other Hondas for 30-40 bucks. Maybe I should quit smoking or move someplace where it doesn't rain.

Damn that is a ridiculous price. Sounds like a good reason to quit smoking to me, Allen. Besides next year at niagara I don't want to see any burn holes on those SiR seats

its because there jdm y0. y else would you pay more money for any jdm parts. there usdm counterpart does the same job. and someone already does make raingaurds for the crx, they sell for about 35-40 bucks i think. but no one buys them, why? because its not a rare part. its not something hard to come by.

You have got to be off yer rocker man. I will personnally PAYPAL you $20 if you can tell me 1 aftermarket company that makes these for a CRX!!! They just don't f'n make them bro....
Yeah Bart, I thought about quitting, but it's also handy to have these when it's raining to defog the front window so I don't have to use AC and loose HP!
Again...to all the sayers of buying an aftermarket-I don't care where the hell it's made-visor the $20 is for real. (Only reason I say that is cuz I know the answer already...but if I'm wrong I'd be happy!)
I swear I almost was willing to pay the EBAY rape price just to be able to not have ******* water dripping on me constantly. I just might. Somebody ******* stop me please.......

That would be sweet if it was that easy. No CRX there. Been there. Been everywhere over the last 2 years. Looking. Too bad because Weather tech makes really nice ones too. They don't use the tape. JC Whitney has only a "universal" listed...WTF is THAT? I guess you can cut it like an Oder Eater shoe insole!?!?
$20 bucks up for grabs

Yes there was back in the day I'm sure. You could order one with your CRX. But there was some kind of "toxic glue" on the tape and now I believe there are none to be had.
This is the same thing as finding brand new OEM CRX Si floormats....

I resisted. I almost drove the price up just to be a *****. But I decided to save my money for these Work Ewing 3 rims I have my eye on.
Still looking for rain guards so I can smoke and drive in the rain

on my 90 crx i used the 90-91 civic hatchback ventvisors - went on with very little modification - just had to trim a little bit off the part that goes over the door trim by the seatbelt - not sure if you would have to do that with the 88-89 crx's with the smaller trim piece - and on my 89 hatch, which has the smaller trim piece with the seatbelt on the frame, not the door, i used ventvisors from an 88-91 prelude and didn't have to modify them at all. now you have your ventvisors.

i got mine brand new for $130...buhahaha. i may be able to get another/more sets, so whoever was interested, pm me.
i want a set. but i don't know how they would actually look like on my car. they might look gay. and im not spending 100$+ for them
Hey Bossman, weathertech doesn't have them, and if JC Whitney has 'em I'll eat my hat, they sell 1 set for all cars...what does that mean? Maybe I'm stoopid but that's what it looks like to me. Plus today isn't the first day I've spent grinding thru google for CRX rainguard manufacturers.
As far as modifying a set I was thinking of doing that, and from what I read it can be done. So that will be what I try next. I'm glad I vented here instead of outbidding some guy who just spent $220.50 on them! ...I almost paid that much. The wife woulda killed me.......
If the person who bought them for that much reads this, tell me, were they worth it!?
Hatchblack.. I am sure many of us would like to see the visors you modded on your CRX! I will definatly try this with a set if they look decent. Maybe an official write-up on what can be used is in order for like the crx boards...

unfortunately i don't have that crx any more, and the one that i just got doesn't have them on it yet, but it will at some point when i get the ambition to do all the body work and patch up the car and paint it and get it to pass inspection. that will probably be in a couple months - i don't know yet - but when i get it done and get new ones on the crx then i will post some pics - otherwise, just get a set and put them on - there really isn't much you have to do to get them to fit.
So 90-91 civic hatchback's don't have the belt on the door? How did the front angle look? I thought the hatch and CRX angle of the door was different...
