ok when i went outside to start my car this morning i noticed that i made a really bad knocking sound coming from the motor but i stopped like after 2 seconds i have no clue what this is anyone else have this problem i dont think it is my rods or it could be????

do not drive or start the car anymore more, for fear of warping your craank.. If you continue to drive it you will need a new crank along with bearings... At the moments you probably just need new barings

 

its not a spun rod bearing i already asked many mechanics if thats what it could be but they said it doesnt sound like it but i dont know it could

 

slowly rev the engine up till around 3k.. do you hear a strange pinging/tapping sound there too? I Jus spun a bearing on my zc... Another way to check is to do an oil change. You will have metal shavings if you spun a baring

 

I agree with stupidslowcrx the reason you get the sound when first starting your car is because you do not have oil flowing it is all at the bottom of the oil pan you get the tapping noise then the oil pressure builds up and the noise goes away hang around 3k rpm if you got a tapping noise you most likely have a spun rod bearing
