Default experience with password jdm

hi all you guys with ef's out there just to let u know password jdm is not good. i have to put this up here cause i cant post on the discussion section. well i recently ordered a jdm conversion from password jdm for my ef and they said they will include everythign i asked for i even paid extra and stuff. i was dealing with this guy Leo and he said he'll include LED spoiler and i didn't get the spoiler when i called him and asked about it he said it wasn't part of the order. i mean what the heck is that. i even listed out the parts in email what i needed and how much to pay and all that.. he said its fine.. now he says i didn't order it.. and to make things worse the parts i recieved aren't in good condition like the headlights have scratches and one has a crack and stuff.. and my radiator support is the wrong one and my hood doesn't close. i trusted these guys and they are doing this to me.. i really need advice on this so please tell me how i can get my spoiler and the accual radiator support. i mean i dont care about the parts that are bad as long as i have all the parts. right now i am emailing them and they aren't emailing back i dont know whats going on. i need help cause i spent alot of hard earned money on these parts and i wish to get everything i asked for. they also said they'll give me a brand new rear lip and the lip they gave me has scratches on it and stuff.. i mean what kinda brand new stuff is that. so far they have given me horrible service. so any of you guys can give me advice on this would be great. thanks.

Maybe you could call them instead of emailing. I'm hearing more and more horror stories about them, sheesh.

damn that sux bro. But im thinking peeps are gonna tell you that mostly no jdm parts are brand new, mostly everything is used. But yea they shouldnt leave a customer hanging like that. The only thing u can pretty much do is just call them up or keep trying to get ahold of them. I would drive down to there location if ur local, but ur not So keep us posted on the results, if u get ur **** or not.

Maybe you could help him out and go down there for him. Maybe ask and see whats up with the order, or see if the store burned down or something.

I have been down there to password on more than a few occasions, and they sucked every single time. They were my last resort, so its why i kept going back (i didnt make a purchase every time though). My advice, if ur not local, then dont buy from there. On the cracked headlight, they should replace it, no questions asked. About the scratches and or yellowing, thats just part of being a USED part. About the radiator support, if it's an EF9 or a EF8 one, then its the same damn thing as the US one (basically it wont work without modifications, i.e. spacers/washers). To have a perfect fit so the hood will close, u need a EF1 radiator support or some other low *** model that came with the "SiR" style front end.

I have also dealt with PASSWORD and their customer service isn't the greatest but I did get the parts i needed. I think its a different situation when your local like myself. Sorry about your damaged goods bro.

thanks for all your post.. i think i'll call them up as soon as i have time.. i'm always busy working so i can convert my car and stuff. and working is hard so i hope password jdm solves this problem cause no customer deserves the treatment i'm getting. i really wish i was local then i could just call them easier but i'm all the way in canada harsh far and its long distance when i call them.. i mean trying to solve this is costing me money and stuff. they should learn how to run their business better. keep customers happy. but right now i'm very angry and unhappy. i mean i dont care if the parts are not in great condition but they should send me everything i asked for.. i ordered the spoiler with my conversion and they didn't give it to me and now they saying i didn't order it and what not.. if i knew they wouldn't give me spoiler then i wouldn't have bought the stuff off them. right now i'm trying to deal with this myself if worse comes to worse i'll have to call up a lawyer and ask for advice. this is total bummer. i put all my trust in them and they screw me over. very not nice.

The JDM B18C5 I got from them seemed to be good. But who knows. Maybe I just got lucky.

my thoughts were..........i was like .. hmm .. this is interesting ... the tailight appears to be the stock one si one.... why is this a sticker ... isnt this supposed to be raised..... (its suppose to be like that...thats how they come in japan) ..isnt the civic letters raised because if its not then its basically the same ... (ohh ... uhmm ...wait..he got the wrong one ... proceeds to blame the guy who got it .. argument insues with the guy .. blha blha ... looked at the center garnish ..... got the right one .) waited patiently....brushed up on my reading civic/crx book thing..then got the center peice .. it wasnt in the best condition so i just said i would come back ... found a better center peice at J-TECH so ended up there...

passwordjdm: 40 bucks for the garnish .. good price but its not the best condition..which goes to the point of it ... why would you buy jdm parts that are messed up .. doesnt make sense if the stock one you had is cleaner and doesnt look like junk ... just my two cents

this is just an example of my experience with them ... ive had others ... they are a business so therefore profit is always on their minds ....understandable.... just for future reference .. just before you buy anything from them .. jsut make sure you know what your getting .. or else youll be an unhappy customer.... becareful cause the saying "what do you expect man its a used part" is really truly sad thing to hear

my most recent experience: I bought from them ek9 flat side moldings which i called in advance for pickup at their store (i'm local). So anyway, i get in there and get the moldings, which seem to be fine. I also preorder EK window visors which aren't in stock, and are discontinued, and hard as hell to find but Leo tells me i'll have them in less than 2 weeks. I even ask at that point if i can cancel my order if i change my mind and they say it's fine. That was back in july. After two weeks i call and they tell me another week and then another week, and then another week. Either it's on backorder or that it's in customs. All excuses served out. So i found a set at ICB and want to cancel from password. I called in and told them I was coming in to cancel and they said it's fine. When i get there 30 min later, no one seems to want to help me out because they don't 1) know who authorized the cancellation, and 2) don't have the cash on hand. They even go so far as to ask me to come back in a few days when someone else is there.
Their customer service SUCKS ***. I would know, i work in retail sales, and i understand that they're a small business so they haven't quite polished customer relations. BUT they should atleast PRETEND that they give a sh*t about customer orders, and not sit there on the phone having personal calls or downloading ringtones while a customer has an issue.

Perhaps it is always best to buy stuff in person (as I did with my B18C5).

Just talk to Leo or PM him. I ordered an EF front end as well, which came in a less than desired condition than expected. I verbalized my disappointment with Leo in a professional manner and he took care of the situation. PWJDM is a good business to deal with IMO.

Yeah, there were gashes and scratches all over it. I mean it is used and coming from Japan so it should be expected.

The gashes are repairable, which I am in the process of doing right now. I will post up picutres at a later time in a new thread. I did not want the JDM fenders so no I did not get the turn signals with them. But I know they do come with them last time I heard.
