Leaking tranny fluid
Hi all,
I've had this problem for quite a while, thought it was fixed but it still isn't. I developed a leak around the seal where the passenger half shaft comes out of the tranny.
I typically would lose 1-2 qrts of tranny fluid driving to, participating and driving home from an autocross. Well when I put in my ATS 1, 2 and FD I replaced the seal and put in a new retaining clip, but am now leaking again. I can literally click the driveshaft in and out by hand. I don't have a problem with the driver's side halfshaft seal. Could this be coming from my Kaaz LSD? Is there a better way to lock in the driveshaft? What would keep popping it out?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
BTW, I can now re-fill my tranny fluid in less than 15 minutes start to end.

Could be the diff.. or the inner joint.. or the circlip on the inner joint's spline.
My B18 CRX had the same problem. I replaced the seal twice before I decided to replace the circlip on the axle. Once spent the chump change on the clip(like $1.00) the problem was solved.

BTW if it's the diff, what do I do to correct it?
