Ok seriously how to people do it, i cant find anyone at all that can swap an h22a into my 91 civic, they all say they cant, whats the deal? And uh i kinda had my battery cables backwards then a big spark went off, and now when i turn the key nuthin... looks, and sounds as if they key wasnt even in. I checked the fuses all fine, i dunno how id be able to tell if the computers dead, bought new battery and still nuthin, checked my 12v thingy and it smells fried but i dunno what that powers, so i need help, i cant go ne ware, o ya and uh when people do b20 swaps how do they buy parts, headers, exhaust, intake, etc, i mean its a freakin crv???

What 12v thingy got fried? Figure out what the 12v thingy is and replace it.
Then worry about the ecu.

ok but what should i type for the search, lol i dunno how they do it no one here wants to do an h22 swap i just want a high hp engine for cheap, and there are too many b16 hatches here so i dunno wat else i gatta zc rite now wit intake...

 

sumone help plz, that 12v thing waas connected to my lights, horn, cd player, all that good stuff, smells fried to me but im juss not sure that if i replaced that my car would run, o ya and uh when it did run it would idle like ****, it would idle lioke 1200 or even 1000, then shut off eventually, thats before i changed the rotor, dizzy cap, and spark plugs.

 

I don't think you can fried the main relay just like that.

Did you check the fuse box under the hood??? If power was reversed then that box would fry first.

Then again if it smells fried then replace it.

Search "Pacman" he did an H22 with a B-series tranny.

 

ya the main relay and the two 60A 32V fuses under the hood were fried, works fine now but idles low as hell and the RPM needle moves from like 400-1500 up and down when im stopped and the cars running, like it wants to stall or sumthin.
