Default 93 automatic accord manual transmission swap

i got the swap from a 90 accord manual that was wrecked and now the engine mount to the tranny that i got from it sit about 2.5 inched to far back. So if i were to mount up this bracket i would have my engine siting back too far. will a motor mount from a 93 accord manual work, and what other problems might i run in to?

you will have to get the bracket out that is welded and install/weld the manual one on the right position or you can go with the 93-96 Prelude m/t engine mount (2pc) and tapp new threads on the trans gear case. here's and auto accord with the prelude m/t mount

Hi I'm currently trying to do this and I want to know how do you tapp new threads or what do you mean by it? Does this mean I have to make a hole on the trans gear case? If yes then do I punch in two holes? because either of the other two legs of the bracket doesn't have any hole attach to. Please help. Thanks.

on 5th gens you can make new holes cuz on the auto tranny mount bracket theres a little weld indentation/dimple that marks where the 5spd mounting holes are. not sure if its the same with 4th gens. but make sure you have the right 5spd rear mounts also to make sure everything sits properly...

mine looks something like this.

what do you mean by this are you doing a auto to manual swap and you dont have the right mounts for the manual tranny? if so you will have to get new mounts for a manual trans
the mount has a diff mounting point on the trans
