throttle cable/TB prob. weird idle
OKAY heres the problem.
(h23 into sol)
idle problem. i know what it is. but not quite sure how to fix it. i think my TB is gunked up so it cant get the right tension/slack. or its the spring on the TB because it isnt letting the plate close enough to its proper position. i have to push it(the little thing the throttle cable attaches to on the TB) to close it all the way. its such a small amount. but it makes a differnece. any ideas. when i swapped. i used the d series throttle cable that came on the sol and flopped the holder upside down.

1st clean the throttle body
2nd adjut the cable so its not tugging on the butterfly to keep it open, it has to be fully closed or your going to get an erratic idle sometimes.
