i was coming home from a trip and had the ac on for 5 hrs or so. then we made a stop to eat and the car rested for about an hr. then we continued on the trip home and turn the ac on again, and i noticed some white smoke coming from the vents. the smoke looks like the air that comes out of your mouth when you breathe on cold days. i would be able to see the smoke for like 10 seconds, then its gone. so i turned off the ac and waited 2 minutes and turned it on again and again white smoke for about 10 second. what is it and is it anything i should worry about?

Just water vapor, nothing to worry about.
