Default Best Engine Performance Parts for H22

Basically best intake, exhaust and other bolt on HP increasing parts by brand and part.

So far I've seen
AEM CAI
DC sports headers
Not sure about exhaust maybe GReddy cat back,

also wondering about cataltyic converter, is an aftermarket cat going to cause engine problems?

Thanks peace,

DC Sports headers are nowhere near the "best performance parts for the H22."

Personally I'd go with the prospeed/erick's racing/ANR header.

It's nothing like paying an extra $700 for 3-4 extra ponies!

my best list for reasonable amt of money:

any ebay intake w/ k&n filter
prospeed header
goto a muffler shop and get mandrel bent piping w/ magnaflow muffler and carsound cat( cat is $100 and muffler is $100, piping depends but usually $1-200)

then get hondata and tune the bitch

its all about what you plan on doing to your car. if you plan on the basic i/h/e then some ppl say 2.25. you could put 2.5, but you will loose backpressure, which isnt a bad thing. personally i think 2.5 is better, even if you plan on just having i/h/e. plus when you're on the freeway driving with style in the high rpm's, it lets you're car breathe easier

Get an AEM cai...mandrel bent piping with a nice N1 can, and save you money since the stock headers flow slightly worst than the DC's, and grab some of these headers i been exposed to0 (smsp, prospeed, AN-r, or even Mugen.

Tanabe Sustec coil-0vers are sick to0
