Stalling Problem
Hey guys,
I recently got a 1994 Accord LX 4 door, 4 cyl.
Great car, but it has a problem with stalling.
Sometimes I'll drive it a bit, stop somewhere, and it won't want to start back up! When I hit the key it might sputter up a bit (hits like 10 times) then it'll die out. It's worth mentioning that it never dies while it's being driven - once it's going, it'll work.
I'm not familiar with Accords yet, so I was wondering if this is a common problem with these cars? Right now I'm thinking it's fuel pump is flakey; but I've never known a fuel pump to "sorta" work. (They work or not - never seen one inbetween..)
Thanks a bunch,
Nick

a common problem is the main relay...only when its hot usually...but i dont think your car will sputter if its the main relay...atleast i wouldnt think it would. do a search for the main relay anyway.... have you checked the fuel filter?
good luck, and i hope that was your problem...your new here so just remember to do a search before you ask a general question like that...also....remember to search the archived content
