EX header vs. Greddy?
I have already searched a few times, but haven't been able to find what I'm needing....
Would their be a noticeable difference in power between the stock EX 4-2-1 header and the Greddy 4-2-1 header?
BTW, I already have a AEM CAI, and a Greddy EVO2 cat-back
Thanks

I doubt u'll notice the difference. Greddy will probably have a better flow and be lighter, but i dont think its worth the $$$ on our F-Series, maybe on a H22a....
ive use dc.
okay i know thats not a answere to oyur question but i would like to help foks to save some money not buying usles things.
did not gain any to switch to dc 4-2-1 from stock 4-2-1.

ex header is pretty good.....put a 2.5" collector in place of stock diameter, 2.5" testpipe to a cat back is probably the best way to go.....but thatll still only net you a few ponies.....granted a SS greddy header looks alot better than an EX header w/o the heat shield....but function over forum...right?

I know you probably mean well dude, but none of us can decipher Hieroglyphics
Back to the topic: A header gives you so minimal amount of added power that most people don't notice any difference. So choosing the header should be based more on price and looks (if you care about looks
) rather then performance. I'd say go EX since its an f

Thanks for the input! I will probably buy a high-flow cat, Random Technology, probably instead of basically paying for the GReddy name for the header. I'd rather have Go over show!

i agree, all it does is pollute our air, and u're gonna get like 1hp from that

Well thanks for telling me! I don't have money to do an engine swap or turbo, so what other basic work could i do, if anything? i definently don't want 2 waste my money! Any help?
Thanks
Thanks
if you dont plan on doing turbo or swap in the future, you might want to invest in doing a little valvetrain work, such as new cams/cam regrind...but even then the difference wont really be that great. unfortunately, with cars like ours performance does not come cheap and you definitely get what you pay for so dont buy for the sake of buying...do your homework and make sure you are getting enough HP to justify the money spent. if youre looking for bigger power gains, you might just want to leave your setup as is for a while and save up for something big like a swap or turbo. just my .02
