Ok, my car has been oveheatin for a while. I got it checked at a really good place in town and they said it was a leak in the top hose but they wanted to charge to much so i took it to a cheap place. They replaced the 2 radiator hoses and the thermostat and siad"The hoses were were swithed. The bottom goes to the thermostat housing". Well, i t over heated again, and again. The fan comes on all the time, and we replaced the h2o pump, and it still overheats. So, my mom calls here co worker over and he believes the bottom hose top hose is suppose to go to the themrostat which might explain why the bottom of the radiator is cool, but the top is hot. So, in a DOHC zc crx, should the top hose go to the thermostat, and the bottom goes under the distrubuter? Anybody know. THANKS A BUNCH

 

Bottom hose goes from bottom of radiator to t-stat.
Upper hose goes from top of radiator to cylinder head.
