Hey,I just got a non-namebrand intake for my 98 v6 accord, but the pipe for the intake is bigger than the pipe coming out of the engine..all other intakes i've seen have a pipe that is the same diameter as the engine. Also, there's a delay before the intake really picks up and starts growling, which did not happen in my friend (who got the same type of intake)'s 95 4 cylinder accord.

Does anyone know if this delay is common on V6's or on VTEC's, or could I have accidentally been given the wrong intake and could the problem be that the pipe is too thick for the car?
