oil on spark plug
I was changing my wife's spark plugs. When I took out the #2 plug, there was oil all over the outside ceramic and center electrode. Could my valve cover spark plug rings have worn out? I hope it's not an internal problem. Help.
take your valve cover off, get some gasket blue or black sealer, and put it all over around the edges of the valve cover and the area around the sparkplug holes. good luck
You should go to autozone or whatever and see if they have spark plugs grommet that is located on the valve cover when u take it off the head. Replace those and u'll be good to go. Oh and when u're putting the valve cover back on becareful on those bolts that hold it on because i broke one and have yet to replace it..........

no you do not. simply remove the visible bolts and pop it off. there are seals on the bottom of the spark plug tube aswell...you would need to take your rocker arm assembly off to get to them (atleast on my f22 you do)...could be the culprit. i replaced my top tube seals and i still have a bit of oil in there...too lazy to replace the bottom ones
