Default JDM Cluster Wiring Problems

I have a 01 ITR and the JDM Cluster that I am trying to install seems to have some wiring problems. I think that this JDM cluster is out of a 97 JDM ITR. I install the cluster after switching the flexible wiring board and when I open the door the seat belt light comes on and the door light doesn't work at all and the fuel gauge doesn't move. I tried a search but none of the results helped me out. Will I need to change any of the wires on the two connectors that go into the cluster to get this to work properly?

i have a 97 spec spoon cluster, and my friend and i installed it into my 01 R-works perfect, like factory. your jdm one will work the same.

the easiest method for you to do this conversion, is to not deal with the electronic part at all. instead, open up both clusters, and swap the jdm gauges into the usdm R cluster. keep everything else the same. so in the end, you will have your stock R cluster with stock housing, green film, icons and backing etc, with only the 4 main gauges replaced with the gauges from the jdm cluster will look factory stock.
