Default Pulling Off the Valve Cover

What's all involved in pulling off the valve cover? I need to replace the gasket 'cause oil is starting to leak out where the cover meets the head.

And yes, I searched for a previous topic.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

basically remove all the 10mm nuts u see on there, pull off the plug wires, and pop the cover off. it might be stuck if u never took it off before, so u need to pry it off gently, just use a screwdriver at a corner or something. or just hit it with a rubber mallet from the side that will loosen it too.

and when putting it back on, be sure to only tighten those 10mm nuts hand tight, they snap off very easily if u go crazy tightening it. a dab of liquid gasket is reccomended on the corners of the valve cover gasket as well.
