Default which camber kit?

just wondering which are good camber kits...looks like there are two types for the front and rear, ive seen a balljoint type and whatever the other is...is there a difference in adjustability and durability, is one more preferred over the other..???

as for the rear, ive seen a control arm and just regular washers...anyone have any idea which is more effective...and as for my car...i had to raise it up due to camber issues and im looking for a 3 to 3.5' drop...any suggestions on type and brand i should stick with...???

and is this something i can install myself...

damn, im at teh same point you are. ive been looking at doing the cheap washer trick for the rear, and this one for the front: http://www.iapdirect.com/item.asp?invid=40

i was looking at just a 2" drop though. any input from people that have actual experience would be great

FYI: 2" drop creates very minimal camber, especially in the front......ive also got a little toe in on the rears, but that might be factory spec......its a long story, but i never got the printout of my allignment......

yeah, i did the washer thing with my 2000 CIVIC and it didnt quite work...maybe its because i had more than a 3' drop though...i was on ebay and i saw several camber kits that correct upto 4' drops...so yeah, maybe im leaning more to that...that -1.25 to +1.25 crap aint gonna cut it for me though...i know them skunk2 ones go from -4 to +4.00..not bad...

I know from my camber kit, and should go for most; that the camber is only adjustable as much as your car can allow.

I have a -3/+3 camber kit and I still have camber, not a lot even on a 2" drop. Its been adjusted but on my car how the camber kit and front suspension are, it really won't allow for any more positive camber to make it "even" .

Rear camber is not too big of a deal when it comes to tire wear on FWD cars.

2" (1.9" on sportlines) = rear negative camber, and a bit of rear toe in......thatll eat your tires.......the optimal solution??......run yokohma avid tourers....nothing beats a tread rating of 9.9x10³
