99 accord rear windows won't go down completely

99 accord rear windows won't go down completely

hi all. would appreciate help

looking at a 99 accord sedan lx. front windows work fine. but both rear windows won't open completely. they both stop about 5 inches above frame. happens whether you use driver controls or passenger control on either window. is there a switch that needs to be adjusted, is there a problem, or is this normal?

umm.....i think your rear windows are suppose to stop there...they dont go all the way down....at least on the LX models I think.

Yeah they don't go all the way down in the rear on my 96 Accord EX either supposed to be a safty feature. Has been like this since it was new when I bought it in 96 so it's normal.

Yep. They stop there on all trim levels...lol...obviously a Honda newbie
