the gas needle on my cluster is never steady, it goes up and down randomly, it will read half a tank one min. and in a few secs it reads close to empty and i know ifor a fact its not no where near empty becuase i just filled up half a tank and did barely any driving......sometimes it will say i have a full tank when i kno i dont, basically its never steady and its always moving from place to place....any idea what this could be......when i bought the car the previous owner had swapped the original cluster with an ex cluster....mayb some wiring problem? what could this problem b? need some advice.....

 

i dont think it is the wiring on the ecu cause swapping an ex cluster from an ek to a non ex ek is plug anf play not requiring any wiring. possibly the tank float is ******* up or the cluster is malfunctioning.
