Default 94 civic suspention on 88 civic

I swap out my 88 std civic suspention with 94 civic suspention with kybs in the back. I used the regular civic springs but i cut like 1 1/2 inchs cause i didnt have a spring compresser. Well there all on and my car sits high as hell like 5 inchs from top of tire to fender. Should i take more of the springs at least like 1 more inch.?? L

You are mixing generations of suspensions. I don't think the 94 will fit properly under an 88.

Use a full coilover setup and it can be done.

I know for fact that the forks in the front are taller. That's probably what is making your car RANCHO style 4X4 - yeeeehaaaaaw!

The stock 5g shock is probably getting close to bottoming out so cutting the springs even more will be a bad idea.

You could just put in the the 88 forks and shocks to correct it.

I would think the rear suspension is sitting pretty close to the way it did with the 4g stuff.
Is it? I never experimented with 5g stuff back there so I don't know.
