I always wondered about these wheels. Were these a factory option from Acura? Or standard on the NSX at one point?

Standard on the 97 Zanardi NSX. Only ~100 came to the US if memory serves correctly. It was basically a JDM NSX Type-Zero or something like that.

The Zanardi NSX was in '99, and 50 were sold.
A set of these four wheels would not be suitable for the ITR. They have different center bore front vs rear, and different offset front vs rear (both different from the ITR).

Ahh, 1999--couldn't remember. I was thinking it was 97-98 when he made the jump to F1, which this car seemed to coorespond with his last CART title.
Also, those wheels are indeed forged. But couldn't you run the fronts (all the way around) on an ITR or RSX if you really wanted to?

That's a copy of a Volk III (98 spec Rays JDM race wheel), but without the center cap to cover the lugs.
Nice how the seller first-bid it to $5 less than the buy it now price, and how the auction details are all garbage characters.
I have a set of the Volk's that will fit 4 & 5 lug ITR's if anyone is interested. Forged and near mint too! I'm only asking $1200 for mine Time for me to put these babies on E-Bay I guess.
