Diffrent offsets for diffrent sized tires.. sticky?
Hey guys! Great forum you have here..
I'm posting for a 6th Gen Accord ('98 4 dr 3.0), as I'm looking for a thread or a sticky, somthing that gives the diffrent offsets needed for diffrent tire sizes too keep the tires from rubbing when lowering the car. The Accord currently has 17's on and is rubbing, and the car is at stock height. Checkin out some of your sweet cars on here, I know this isn't normal, and has to be caused by an impropper offset.. the wheels were pre-owned and we're (my friend and I) not sure what the offset is. We're lookin to get rid of these, purchase some other rims with a propper offset. From searching, I haven't found a sticky or anything, not only on your forum here, but on any of the honda forums. I have read that it seems to be between 40 and 45 mm offset (like a +43mm would be pefect) to keep from rubbing, but I'm not sure if this is right? I come from G20.net and we have a sticky that has all the diffrent offsets required for diffrent sized rims... do you guys have anything like this...? Any help would be CRAZY appreciated... thanks guys!

I don't know the offset for 5 lug Accords, but you could call tirerack or visit their site (www.tirerack.com) and that would let you know exactly what offset you have.
