Hey all,

I am curious how the car behaves if the timing is off. Either advanced too much or retarded too much.

I am just trying to get an idea of what are the tell-tale signs are.

if your timing is really off youll know, it will run like ***..... it wont have any real power, and the power it does have will be choppy and poor.....because you can have a rough idle and it have nothing to do with the timing at all....you can also have pinging without it directly being linked to timing..peace
