Will a 92-95 Civic alternator fit a 87 CRX?

Anyway - if you can find out if the 88~91 alternator fits the 87 then you will know if the 92~95 (maybe even 92~00???) will fit.
The 92~95 and the 96~98 (maybe even 96~00???) all fit the 88~91 bracket, but the plugs are different.

hahaa! You should track down a 96~98 bracket and run that too!
BTW - I hear that the 96~98 alternator puts out a few more amps than the 88~95.
