nope your heater still works, cause i dont' have my a/c belt on no more
and soon will be taking the whole a/c system out...and i still got heat...lots of it!

if you take the a\c box out not just the pump ,lines, etcc; you need to replace it with a non a\c box to retain the heat\fan functions.

No you won't loose Heater, just order the duct part from dealer about $20.00 after removing the A/C unit "Evaporator".
