Whats The Best Lip To Paint The Same Color As The Car for a EG????? just need some ideas

yea thats the lip i have now( Mugen )...its black now n i just put silver slips on my car so now i want a cleaner look so i wanna match the lip with the car....but im still open to other opinions...keep em comin

 

Wings West RS/Mugen lips look great color matched [so long as the side skirts are painted too].

yea my sidemolding and my EK Sides are color matched

 

 

any lip , jus make sure to color match it

 

yea i really like the way the color match mugen goes im jus gunna paint my mugen lip try it on for size

 

definately mugen... good choice! if not, then try the civic type r lip

 

yes it does the replica type r lip i dun really like it tho

Maybe we're talking about different lips here. Do you have the knock off EK Mugen lip on your Civic? Or do you have the EG Mugen lip, that Wings West copied.

with all the EK Style Mugen Replica lips, you basically gotta call the OG Mugen lip the 'wings west style' lip.

Seriously. It's getting out of hand now.

 

The bandwagon killed it. I think all of the lips are pointless, but I will say that the Wings West lip looks the best. The market is flooded with this crap, and people are quick to call this trendy stuff "JDM," when none of this garbage is sold on the Japanese market. Leave the car stock or get an OEM lip.

i like this one alot...looks alot cleaner than the silver hatch i jus posted...wuts a decent price i may be able 2 find that wings west rs lip ?

 

What about the "spoon" style CF lip??

Im asking because im caught in the same dilema. Should i keep it CF?? or paint it to match the car(defeats the cF purpose but looks cleaner), or should i get funky and spray several coats of matched candy on it so from far away it matches but close up u can see the CF weave???

But for straight matchnig its between the Wings West "mugen style" front lip. or spoon style front lip
