Default Any CD/MP3 Decks that have Amber/ Orange Lighting?

I am looking for a cd/mp3 deck to match my interior lighting. I really want one that lights up orange/amber at night, and preferably has a black face, but let me know if any of you know of one that would work for me, thanks.

With all of there do the buttons light up amber also, and what color are the actual decks, like black or silver?

Why are you so concerned about color. Be concerned with the quality of the unit. Don't look for something that just matches, look for something that sounds good. You can get a cheap Jensen deck or a Pyramid unit they all have amber displays and buttons.

alpine cda-7894 was perfect for me. had green or amber display. amber looked nice. also good quality with mp3 playback feature.

Alpines 9835 matches Prelude interior. Has the adjustable color on the buttons, so if you set it to (#28 - an amber-orange color) it matches the lights. Also, small lights behind the 1-6 buttons and what not are the same color green as the AC button green color when pressed.

Higher end Alpines have adjustable colors for 512 colors, but the 9835 will match perfect for that BB6 interior

I love my stock deck, but I want it to play MP3s and have sub outputs, and my deck has the acoustic feedback, and i heard that you cant run aftermarket speakers without getting a new deck, but i like those alpines.

With the CDA 9833 and 9831 it says that there are 500 some odd colors to choose from, and by that do they mean button colors, or actuall display colors, because that would be tight to change the display color. And I am really looking at getting the CDA 9831, so if anybody has this, tell me how you like it. Thanks guys

The 500+ colors are just for the 4 buttons on the left, you can only toggle between amber/green for the rest of the buttons.

dont gathers head units light up amber? if so why not just get that if youre concerned about cosmetics. Or better yet just get a head unit you like and get it custom colored....if youre ocncerned about appearance so much

yup mine matched well. but the "orange" color matched better than the "amber" color of the deck. plays MP3 and the WHOLE thing lit up orange. not like the alpine that still has a blue/white display. it worked well till i fried the head unit. shameless plug>>>i still have everything for $40 if anyones interested. face and remote are still good.

I myself am not really concerned with cosmetics, but I will have to admit that it is an added bonus when you're head unit matches up perfect with your interior... 9835 is perfect match for 5th gen interior. I was a previous PEH-7400 user and I just didn't like the neon green OEL Display against the interior color. I choose the 9835 for it's functions and SQ compared to my previous unit... but I'm d*mn happy with the cosmetics as well.

your kidding right??? no sub preouts

search owns (how i found this thread i know its old) guess i'm decided on the Alpine CDA 9833

I had the newest sony deck out... but the face was silver.. not feelin it... and the orange/red was hella distinct color.. matched my EM1 okay, but not what i wanted, but not bad for a $200 but this alpine one looks better
