Most of the emissions posts are in california. I live in wisconsin, next may i will have to go in for emissions and I just swapped a b16a into my 88 crx dx. Just wondered if anyone has done this swap and gone in for emissions in wisconsin. Did you pass, any problems?

 

I passed with no probs in IL with my b16a crx, and I'm pretty sure WI smog laws shouldn't be much different.

 

when i am concerned with emissions i just register the car in another city. they never ask for the address. Only Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha and Waukesha do testing. Dane county or city of madison i think starts soon. all my collector autos are register in cutler since i have a cabin there, but they never ask any questions.

 

theyre much tougher than Illinois. the only state tougher on emissions then wisconsin is Kali... and not by much actually.
