Default Help on my 91 Hatch

Just got a 91 hatch this weekend and I was told it was a base. Is that true? I was told by an owner of a SI hatch and was told that there are only TWO MODELS: The SI and the DX. What do I have? It has a 1.5 single cam 4 speed manual. No passenger mirror. I want to buy parts for it but can't find em here cuz I am a TRIAL USER. I want to get SIR seats both front and rear and then drop in a B16 in it. what do you guys recommend? Also will I have any toe or camber problems if I put on some 95 GSR's? Thanks

it's the dx. si came with a 1.6l 5 spd. b16 would be a good swap, not sure about the gsr rims.

Sorry buddy that is a STD (standard, which is below a Dx) if it has a 4spd trans. The lightest model available for that year. And the best candidate for a swap if racing is what you plan on doing. It eliminates a lot of the unneeded weight that the Si's had.

I'm not sure what you mean by 95 GSR's. If you are talking about wheels than no problems should be present. But if you are talking about front knuckles or rear disk swap than you might run into some trouble. Clear that up and we'll let you know.

BTW I hope you didn't pay an Si price for that STD.

Hey if the shell is a clean shell then its a good deal.

STD is a good choice, less weight and you don't have to worry about water leaks like the Si.
