real knob or not? help me out, think i was scammed
ok, heres the story. i saw a "genuine type r ****" on ebay and placed a $45 bid just thinking maybe for some reason id win. ends up i do, but it only gets up to $30 (first indication). i just recieved it today and while im not sure, it seems like a copy. heres a pic, and also it seems a little rough, like kind of grainy, and its not very heavy, whereas i thought that they were weighted. anywho, let me know what you think, thanks. oh yeah, heres the aution listing...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
looks like u got scammed. The "real" type r shift **** is very smooth and has a little bit of weight to it. From that picture you can tell that it has some texture on it, which is not a good sign of being a genuine honda part. Plus, a good indication that its not real is the fact that it was only $30. Sorry to break the news to you.......

The finish on that one looks real cheap....genuine ones have a satin smooth finish and are quite heavy even though theyre supposed to be titanium which i thought was light weight??????

yea dude that is fake for sure using your photo the ***** do not have that kinda of shine to them when you take a picture of it..
and why would you bid on something that you cant clearly see???

if you used paypal tell paypal you got a fake item. and that will freeze the sellers account. hopefully you can get your money back.

if i were you i wouldnt even bother, because he will ask you to send the item back to him, which wastes time, and he is expecting you , which he will wait past the 30 days to get back to you which paypal can not help you then.
the seller knows what he was selling , and he knows it was fake. email him letting him know what your doing and then call paypal (dont email them call and talk to them personally) explain your story, it clearly says its an itr shift **** which it is not. and they will give him the chance to explain leaving the problem between the seller and paypal to make things right. if a correction is not made through paypal , his account will be locked and you will get your moneyback. and if he leave a negative feedback you can get it taken off since paypal will have a history of what was going on and it will clearly show it was a retalitory negative that was left.
either way you will have to return it back to him. so why trust what he will say when he says "yea send it back and i will give all your money back" remember he did say it was an itr shift **** which it is not. lie #1 why let him lie to you again.
instead get paypal to lock the account, then send it back that way the funds are frozen and paypal can get your moneyback...also remember to put a delivery confirmation slip on the package.
