Does anyone know if there's any chance of Hasport making a swap kit for a prelude?
I'm getting ready to swap my crappy F22 out and if hasport has something in the works that anyone's heard about I will wait to see what they are doing.

Oh
I seriously doubt they will make one and I really don't see a point to it though.

I think he is probrablly talking about the k24 hybrid, which to the best of my knowledge, is the crv bottom end, with the rsx-s head. And I personally think that would be sweet if they make the mount kit because those k-series, make some killer power.

I don't thnk weight has very much to do with it, demand does. All the EK guys whined about H22 motor mount kits, and they got them from HASPORT (Considerably later compared to other manufacturers)

weight has a lot to do with it, weight is the reason there are no mount kits for b/d series into lude/accord....now with the k series there is enough torque for ludes and accords, but for the price of 3 h22s no one is going to put a k24 or k24 block/k20 head into an accord or lude at the moment....unless u get a free k24 from someone there is not reason to overlook the h22 until prices drop to h series prices

I wasn't even considering B/D-series swaps in Preludes because they don't seem viable in 100% "stock" form. Modified, boosted, LS/VTEC's or the like mightbe worth it, but most woudldn't.
I was strictkly referring to K20/K24 swaps, which should have enough tq to make a Prelude a daily driveable car, esp K24.
The aftermarket support for K-series motors is likely to eclipse H-series's, and many owners might consider moving over for a "fresh motor," better performance, or simple modability.
K-series gear ratios are more favorable as well.

i think the K24 is a viable candidate for a prelude swap, but yeah they are very expensive.
still, i'm wondering if someone will break ground and make cory a k24/20 mount kit for the tank so he can take it to the k20 ****** in HC...
eventually as K series prices come down, i can see this as being a very popular item for all honda platforms.

jdm k24a's aren't that expensive.
and usually, a CRV block can be found online or at a junkyard for around 1000-1500 dollars. Combine it with the Type-S head (new at 1200; no cams/cam gears) with Toda Stage 1 Cams. and you got some serious power...

I bet if all of us on the board got organized and wrote Hasport letters about it they might consider it
