Inserts are stiffer and doesn't allow the engine to rock over.

Either that or just cut out the hood support structure!

A B18C should never hit the hood when in an EG chassis unless you A.) failed to install all the mounts, B.) have a broken mount or two, C.) jury-rigged something incorrectly or D.) have your hood sitting too low.

If you've done everything mentioned correctly you may want to look into one of those "dampers" that you mount to your engine and the shock tower...they're specifically designed to absorb the forward toqueing of an engine and transfer that lost power and motion to the ground.

Good luck.

hey just add washers and a bigger bolt to the four that attach the hood it will be a little bit higher but fixes the problem

do you have a factory/oem hood? i've heard of aftermarket hoods having problems with b-swaps
