Default Marksman alarms, any good?

I went to my local car alarm shop and they recommended this alarm. I know they were BSing me a lil cause they were kinda talking out of their asses thinking I didn't know anything about alarms.. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this brand, and is it any good? I was looking at the M11a for $360 installed. Has a 2 way pager, and features keyless entry (duh), trunk release, turbo timer function, dual-zone shock sensor, and some other less important stuff. Is this worth it over other brands and their features? Or is there another alarm with the same features for less..and also more well known? Lemme know guys, I'm a noob when it comes to alarms, thanks

Personally i'd tell you to go with a DEI alarm (viper, clifford, python, etc). Obviously, you would be layering your system. I like the 2 way pager thingy

I never heard of marksman alarm.

-aoib0t, who thinks it'd be cool to get a 2 way pager from DEI maybe :B

I've been installing alarms for over 5 years. I would never buy anything but a directed alarm (Python, Viper, Sidewinder....). I have never seen one go bad yet and I have installed at least 100 of em. (I install 1-2 a week). The pricing for a directed alarm with 2-way paging is usually $399 installed. Well worth the extra $40. By the way, ask that sales person if they are going to install the keyless entry, truck release, starter kill etc. Most alarms are capable of doing these things but it is extra if you want to hook them up.
