Installing Transmission Computer Module on 92 Accord 4 speed Auto
Does anyone know any special things required for a install on the control module for this 92 Honda Accord 4 dr with 4 speed automatic? Does the battery need to be disconnected or anything else reset?
Appreciate any assistance anyone might give.

I'd suggest disconnecting the battery whenever dealing with electricity. You never know what could happen.
The TCM is right next to the ECU under the passenger carpet, right?

If you are planning to replace the module ,you ll have to disconect both , the tranny module and the ECU. It s hiding under the carpet , pass side. There is a frame (no ideea how to call it) that is holding both modules (ecu and tranny) . There is not much room to work under ,but is not too hard. The tranny module has 2 multiple wire connector , and is located on the right side . The ECU has 3 connectors , and the space is very minimal...Be careful when you pull the connectors and make sure you don t pull the wire...
Anyway, what problem do you have with the module ? they are quite reliable and don t go too often...It may be something else other than the module... Good luck anyway !
