Back to basics: There are three things necessary for ignition -say it with me
compression
fuel
spark.

You have one, fuel.
Most likely you have compression.
Check your spark. With a spare plug, plure a spark plug wire, throw in that spare plug, ground it and have a friend crank the engine. No sparkie, look to your ignition and all elements involved (ie, grounding points, coid, ICM).

Good luck.

ok. i checked som things today. i took out the plugs and cranked it over. a lot of fuel kept coming out. i took out the fuse for the fuel pump and checked for spark and there was no spark. i am completely lost right now. would the o2 sensor be a factor in this?

also, could i have messed up the ecu?

check the wiring to the emanage make sure everything is correct. and get a can of compressed air and take the plugs out and shoot air in the cylinders so u can get sum of the fuel out cuz now wit that much fuel in the engine your flooding it out, and youll have more trouble getting it started

I'm not familiar with the blue box, however check for battery voltage on your ecu wire going to your ignition controll module.

i don't know if this makes any difference but i tuned the ignition to on and there was no cel. this is without the fuel pump fuse. when i put it back in, i got a cel. would this tell me anything?

ok. i replaced the coil and i reset the ecu. the cel is gone but it still won't start. i used the old spark plugs that got flooded. could it be that i need some new plugs and it would start?

Check the voltage going to your ICM. Open up the distributor, and put a multimeter/test light on the yellow/green wire with the key turned to ignition. You should get battery voltage. Anything less, you have a prob and yes the car can start with less than battery voltage (but you'll encounter more probs done the line).

Most likely you won't have battery voltage. I'm not sure if the blue box cuts into the ignition, but I'm betting it does. Look there.

guys
start with the basics.

distributor cap, rotor.

try replacing them. they are wear items and should be replaced reguarly.

i tried checking for spark and one orange spark came out of it. that's all. i'm guessing that i should buy a new dizzy. Could the ecu have fried also? i also replace the spark plugs.

Hondas have problems with the igniter unit in the dizzy occasionally. If it is dead - no spark. Happened to me.

i'm pretty sure it's the ignitor but i can buy a new dizzy for the price of the ignitor. unless the ignitor is cheaper than what i think it is.

Update:

the car started today now it idles funny. i checked the code and its a p0107 map sensor low voltage. does this mean that i need another one and where is it located? the idle fluctuates. is this normal when there is a map sensor problem? also, the greddy blue box crapped out. that's why the car wouldn't start.
